Ingredients
- Vegetables: A selection of vegetables including potatoes, celery, spinach, and mushrooms.
- Bean products: Tofu, bean sprouts, and other bean-based products.
- Meatballs: Various meatballs such as lamb balls, beef balls, and pork balls.
- Seafood and meat: Seafood like small shrimps and sliced mutton.
- Spices: Chili powder, Sichuan peppercorns, ginger, garlic, and a special Gansu-style malatang seasoning. Also, seasonings like salt, sugar, light soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil are added for taste.
Preparation
- prepare ingredients: Prepare the ingredients. Wash and cut various ingredients into suitable sizes, and then place them in containers.
- fry base: Heat an appropriate amount of oil in a pot, add ginger, garlic, and Gansu-style malatang seasoning and stir-fry until fragrant.
- add water and make soup: Pour in an appropriate amount of water. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat and simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors.

- season ingredients: Once the ingredients are cooked, take them out and put them in a bowl. Add an appropriate amount of salt, sugar, light soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil and other seasonings, and then pour in the soup.
